EXCLUSIVE: Paris Hilton is getting behind college hazing documentary 4000 Days, which launches at Tribeca today. Above is a first trailer.
The film chronicles “the relentless fight of three families who channeled their personal tragedies into a movement for change. After losing their sons to fraternity hazing, the families found themselves up against a deeply entrenched system that thrived on secrecy, denial, and silence. Refusing to accept that their children died in vain, they joined forces and waged a years-long battle to expose the dangers of hazing, challenge university and fraternity accountability, and push for sweeping legislative reform.”
The film’s title represents the length of their struggle—the number of days it took to turn grief into action, and action into law. On December 23, 2024, former President Joe Biden signed the Stop Campus Hazing Act.
Daniel E Catullo III directs and produces. Also producing are Russell Greene and David Kernan. UTA is repping sales. The families’ story has been covered on CBS’ This Morning, CNN and NBC’s Today Show.
